You go to MySpace of Facebook or any other social networking site and there are all these ads. The people who put those ads on these websites know that they will be effective since millions of teens go daily on them. Clean & Clear had this advertisement on the top of MySpace one day and I noticed how I was finding myself saying I need some wash for my face. Almost every teen is self-conscious about their image, these marketing specialist know this and are aiming the add to these age group.
Also they use key words, like “new” instantly you are led to believe is a new product to help prevent or treat the acne. Especially if the ad also says to click on it for more information, you kinda of think you are going to be given an offer so you cant help but to click on it. The number 1 problem with teens is acne and there “image” so you can never go wrong with putting advertisements like those in the number 1 place teens go online and thats social networking sites.
